DEVIN DAWSON

Tour_DevinDawson_MG_8623.jpeg

Devin Dawson is not your typical country artist. Twenty-eight years old and from Orangevale, California, Dawson grew up just outside the gates of Folsom Prison. He heard the sirens at night, and sang along to Johnny Cash, Alan Jackson, Marvin Gaye & Creedence Clearwater Revival. Just out of high school he played bass in a touring death metal band.

The Warner Music Nashville/Atlantic Records artist has an approach to country music that's not different on purpose, it's different with purpose. His songs speak the language of a new generation: fans with no use for genre labels. With a knack for razor sharp stories that cut straight to the heart, full of detail and clever turns of phrase, Dawson is establishing a reputation as "one of country music's most tender and articulate wordsmith" (The Tennessean).

ARDEN PARK ROOTS

APR_blk-wht.jpg

Touring nationally over the past 9 years and playing well over 150 shows, in 2016, Arden Park Roots broke the all-time attendance record at Sacramento's 25 year old Concerts in the Park series with a crowd of over 7,900. They have headlined several NorCal festivals and shared the stage with bands such as Pepper, Weezer, Slightly Stoopid, Ballyhoo, Dirty Heads, Damian Marley, Steel Pulse and The Wailers.

Sacramento is their home, so they were proud to have received three Sacramento News and Review "SAMMIES" for "Best Reggae/Rock" band in 2013, which led them getting inducted into the Sacramento Music Hall of Fame, alongside legends Papa Roach, the Deftones, Cake and Tesla.

"Our latest album, Burning the Midnight Oil has received reviews beyond what we thought was possible...the people love it, we love it...we love them. We are truly humbled. Thank you all!" - APR

JOY & MADNESS

2013-12_Promoinstruments_BL-1024x683.jpg

An eight piece soul and funk explosion out of Sacramento that could be described as Jamiroquai meets Fits and the Tantrums, Joy & Madness has been rocking stages all over the West Coast since inception. Joy & Madness brings a modern classic pop sensibility to a new age of joyous funk and soul reaching audiences in a way that few live performers can.  As true believers in music as a shared experience that can simultaneously allow escape and connection, Joy and Madness brings a live performance which leaves everybody inspired, sweaty, and full of joy.

Joy & Madness began with 5 core members who met in a previous Sacramento project with roots in funk and soul music. With the addition of three more members, the band began experimenting with the beginnings of what would become the Joy & Madness sound;  a raucous mix of raw stonesy energy, pulsing groove, and juicy horn lines coloring tightly crafted songs. Since then, they’ve shared the stage with performers as prolific as Tower of Power, Trombone Shorty, and Collective Soul. Front man and vocalist Hans Eberbach brings so much freewheeling energy to the stage, he has literally broken right through the floorboards. His raw, open connection with the audience breaks down barriers and pulls everyone together into the excitement of the experience.
